Parties
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("Client") and WebTesterPro, a trading name of CloudhostUK Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("WebTesterPro", "we", "us").
By purchasing a plan or engaging our services, you confirm you have authority to bind your organisation to these Terms.
Services
WebTesterPro provides automated website monitoring and testing services as described on our website and in your chosen plan. This includes but is not limited to:
- Uptime and availability monitoring
- Automated functional testing of user journeys (forms, login, checkout)
- SSL certificate monitoring
- Broken link scanning
- Performance checks
- Weekly health reports
The specific tests and coverage depend on your plan and site setup. Full checkout testing requires a staging environment or access to your payment provider's sandbox. Where this is unavailable, monitoring covers the journey up to the payment step.
We do not guarantee that all possible issues will be detected, and monitoring should be considered a supplement to — not a replacement for — your own quality assurance processes.
Service levels & SLA
Monitoring frequency
Automated tests run continuously throughout the day. Frequency varies by check type — uptime checks run multiple times daily, functional journey tests (forms, login, checkout) run at least once per day.
Alert response
When a test failure is detected, an automated alert is sent to you immediately by email. Alerts include a description of the failure, the affected journey, and a screenshot where available.
Support response times
| Plan | Support channel | Response target |
|---|---|---|
| Peace of Mind | Within 1 business day | |
| Revenue Protection | Within 1 business day | |
| Full Coverage | Email — priority queue | Within 4 business hours |
| Agency | Email — dedicated | Same business day |
Business hours are Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 UK time, excluding UK public holidays. Response targets are aims, not guarantees — but we take them seriously.
Weekly reports
Weekly health reports are delivered each Monday morning for Revenue Protection plans and above. If a report is delayed, we'll notify you proactively.
Scheduled maintenance
We will give you at least 24 hours' notice of any planned maintenance that affects your monitoring. We aim to schedule maintenance during low-traffic hours.
No uptime guarantee
We do not offer a formal uptime SLA on our own infrastructure. In the event of extended downtime on our end, we will notify you and extend your billing period accordingly.
Payment & billing
Services are billed monthly in advance. Prices are in GBP and inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Payment is due on the first day of each billing period. We reserve the right to suspend monitoring if payment is not received within 7 days of the due date.
Prices may be updated with 30 days' written notice. You may cancel before the new pricing takes effect without penalty.
Cancellation
You may cancel your plan at any time by contacting us by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
We may terminate or suspend your service if you breach these Terms or if your account is significantly overdue. In such cases, we will give reasonable notice where possible.
Client responsibilities
To provide effective monitoring, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your website, including URLs, login credentials, and test account details where required
- Keep us informed of significant site changes that may affect monitoring, test scripts, access, or agreed user journeys
- Not use our services to monitor websites you do not own or have authority over
- Notify us if any test credentials or access details change
Any test credentials you provide are stored securely and used solely for the purpose of running agreed monitoring tests. We will never use them for any other purpose.
Website changes and monitoring scope
WebTesterPro's monitoring is based on the website structure, user journeys, pages, forms, integrations, credentials, and test configuration agreed when monitoring is set up.
The Client is responsible for notifying WebTesterPro of any material changes to their website that may affect monitored checks or user journeys. This includes, but is not limited to, changes to URLs, page layouts, forms, checkout flows, login areas, plugins, themes, third-party services, payment providers, tracking scripts, or access credentials.
Until WebTesterPro has been notified of such changes and has reviewed or updated the relevant monitoring configuration, existing monitoring may not reflect the current version of the website and may not detect issues introduced by those changes.
WebTesterPro is not liable for losses, failures, missed detections, or service issues arising from website changes made by the Client or their suppliers where those changes were not notified to WebTesterPro and were outside the agreed monitoring configuration.
Any review, update, or reconfiguration of monitoring tests following website changes may be treated as additional work unless expressly included in the Client's plan or agreed in writing.
Liability
WebTesterPro provides monitoring services on a best-efforts basis. We are not liable for losses arising from website failures that occurred before monitoring was set up, during periods our service was unavailable, or that were not detectable by the agreed test configuration.
Monitoring is limited to the checks, user journeys, website areas, credentials, and configuration agreed with the Client. We are not liable for failures or missed detections that fall outside that agreed monitoring scope, including issues introduced by website changes that were not notified to us in accordance with Section 7.
Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid to us in that period.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
Intellectual property
Test scripts, reports, and monitoring configurations created by WebTesterPro remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. You retain full ownership of your website and any data it contains.
Weekly health reports are provided for your internal use. You may share them with your team or clients but not resell them without our permission (agency partners excluded under their agreement).
Data & confidentiality
We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Test credentials and site access details are treated as confidential and never shared with third parties.
Screenshots captured during test failures are stored securely and shared with you as part of alert notifications. They are retained for up to 90 days and then deleted.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continuing to use our service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
